Yunyan, Shenzhen to cooperate on hospitality industry development

An industry development promotional conference between Guiyang's Yunyan district and Shenzhen, a city in South China's Guangdong province, was held in Shenzhen on Sept 3 and proved to be a stunning success, according to Yunyan officials.

The conference focused on promoting Yunyan's middle- to high-end hotel and catering industries. It was attended by 28 well-known hotels and restaurants from Shenzhen.

At the event, She Nian, deputy head of Yunyan's government, introduced the district's investment advantages concerning industry foundation, market returns and development opportunities.

She said that Yunyan would make every effort to build a more robust business environment and provide better services for companies starting businesses in Yunyan.

A strategic cooperation agreement between Yunyan district and Shenzhen Longgang District Tourism Hotel Industry Association was signed at the promotional conference. The two sides will conduct in-depth cooperation and exchanges on middle- to high-end hotel industrial resources.

Meanwhile, more than 100 investment and travel brochures were distributed, and more than 10 enterprises in Shenzhen were invited to visit Yunyan.
