Yunyan inks cooperation agreement with China Construction Bank

The government of Guiyang's Yunyan district signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Guizhou branch of China Construction Bank on Aug 20, Guiyang Daily reported.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate on promoting the construction of a smart and livable city, inclusive financial development, cultural and tourism revitalization, rural revitalization, mid-to-high-end manufacturing development and comprehensive financial services.

Lu Xuetao, deputy governor of the Guizhou branch of China Construction Bank, and Wang Qian, head of Yunyan district, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Wang stated that Yunyan is the core area of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province. It has excellent location advantages and enormous development potential, and is the center of Guizhou's politics, economy, commerce, culture, technology and education.

Yunyan is promoting the construction of the old urban area, Sanma area, Xiaoguan area and the future Ark area, and is simultaneously promoting urban and industrial modernization.

Wang also said that the government would do its best to provide all-around services for enterprises starting businesses in Yunyan.

In his speech, Lu said that China Construction Bank would focus on providing comprehensive financial services for major construction projects, social governance and urbanization in Yunyan. 

The bank hopes to further participate in the reform and development of Yunyan district and help Yunyan become a province-leading district.
