It also cooperates with other schools and universities to provide a pre-school education diploma training class and self-examination undergraduate classes for students.
At present, there are more than 1,400 students in the university. Over the past 20 years, the university has trained 4,000 preschool teachers for the province. Over 10,000 graduates work as teachers and staffs in schools and kindergartens, making the university a fertile place for training preschool teachers.
As an excellent teaching institution in Yunyan district, the university has won various honorary titles such recognition as a provincial and municipal civilized unit, a garden-style unit, an advanced sports work unit and a provincial and municipal language demonstration unit.
Nowadays, Guiyang Infant Normal University continues to make efforts to provide a full-service for the development of preschool education, making the school a national first-class teacher training center and educational research center.
