Hongfu Temple is a key cultural relics protection ancient structure in Southwest China’s Guizhou province and is listed as one of the national key open temples promulgated by the State Council, China’s Cabinet.
The temple is located in the Qianling Mountain in Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou. It started construction by Chisong monks in 1672.
The whole temple covers an area of 11,433 square meters, featuring 72 examples of ancient architecture such as the Fahua Tower, the Dashan Gate and the Cangjing Pavilion.
A number of precious monuments and cultural relics are preserved at the temple, highlighted by the Gufo Cave, the Chisong Monk Memorial Tower and the Arhat statues.
