The market supervision and management bureau of Yunyan district in Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China’s Guizhou province -- recently took concrete action to help local restaurants resume eat-in services while carrying out strict virus prevention and control measures, local officials said.
They said the bureau aims to boost the confidence of catering enterprises by help solve the difficulties that the reopening restaurants have met through online and offline channels.
It has established a special team to provide door-to-door services, guiding catering enterprises to carry out health inspections of employees, strengthen indoor ventilation and food processing disinfection.
Meanwhile, the bureau requires all catering service businesses to strictly abide by the relevant food safety management regulations -- such as performing a temperature test on all incoming customers, registering customer information, helping customers disinfect their hands before dining and providing food delivery services.
It also advocates catering staff guide customers to dine at different intervals and maintain a seating distance.
Special personnel will be sent to strengthen the inspection and supervision of catering servers during dining peak hours.
