Yunyan should promote the optimization and improvement of its business environment, in an effort to help enterprises increase quality and efficiency and become large and strong, said Wang Qian, Yunyan district mayor, in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The district government official put forward his view during a recent delegation visit to the Guizhou-based Yongji Co Ltd, a large listed shareholding company specializing in trademark design, technology development and printing.
An important industrial enterprise in Yunyan, Yongji has contributed greatly to the district's economic development since its establishment in 1997. It is hoped Yunyan's layout for medium and high-end industry will be improved by greater resource integration and more optimized structural adjustment in the district.
Wang said he gained detailed knowledge of the enterprise's product portfolio, manufacturing, sales, technological support and development plans during the visit. He said he also gained deeper insight into problems and difficulties during a meeting with representatives of the company.
Wang emphasized that relevant district departments should strengthen working measures to put certain business policies into practice and enhance the government's functional transformation and services, to stimulate the inner dynamics of enterprise development.
He also called for a meeting and communication mechanism to be set up to build a new relationship between the government and enterprises, focusing on solving problems faced by companies.
