Yunyan re-affirms commitment to education development

Yunyan will make great efforts to improve its education quality by optimizing its educational layout, supplementing educational resources, and balancing educational development in different areas, according to an announcement made by district government officials at an education conference held on Sept 10, which was also the 35th Teachers' Day in China. 

"In recent years, Yunyan has made remarkable achievements in education by providing more educational opportunities and improving its education quality," said a spokesperson of Yunyan district. 

In the future, the district will gear up efforts to streamline the layout of educational facilities in both old and new communities, as well as increase educational resources through a series of measures, including tightening governance on supporting kindergartens in several communities.

In addition, the district will further its educational development by diversifying its schooling methods, such as supporting private education as a supplement to public education, as well as innovating policies and constructing a reasonable swap system for teachers in private and public schools respectively. 

The district will focus on the improvement of teachers' teaching capabilities, the exploration of the opening-up of the education system, and the integration of educational resources as three keys to create a more fair and high-quality educational environment in Yunyan.
