Yunyan district opens new cultural practice center

Yunyan district, Guiyang city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, promoted its civilized city construction efforts by opening a new cultural practice center on July 4 to carry out cultural voluntary service activities in the district's 28 communities and towns.

The center will focus on organizing activities to learn and practice scientific theories, explain and spread the Party's policies, enrich people's cultural lives, and transform traditional customs. 

It will provide the public with education, culture, science and technology services, and fitness and sports activities. 

The center will depend on volunteers to implement its work and will continue to increase their number as they part in various practice activities. 

To date, Yunyan district has established a total of 97 volunteer service teams.
