Automation has transformed operations at the Xinyuan Poultry Farm in Huaxi district. The farm, which houses 200,000 egg-laying hens, uses intelligent feeding, egg collection, and temperature regulation systems.

With 26 workers managing daily tasks, efficiency has soared while labor costs have plummeted. Automation allows a single button to feed 8,000 chickens, and centralized systems monitor key metrics for effective management.

Similarly, in Xiuwen county's Fuwang Breeding Base, smart technologies, such as automated feeding and climate control, optimize pig farming.

Supported by the Guizhou Province Big Data Service Platform for Breeding Pigs, farmers benefit from precise feed ratios and lifecycle monitoring, improving productivity. The platform serves over 70 percent of Guizhou's pig output, with over 130 users statewide.

Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs aims to achieve 27 percent agricultural production informatization by 2025, targeting over 100 digital application scenarios. Plans include developing high-level smart farms and promoting successful models. With digital tools, Guiyang and Gui'an are setting a benchmark for sustainable and efficient agricultural practices, ensuring robust rural vitalization.
