Guiyang's GDP up 6% in Q1-3

Guiyang's GDP reached 369.65 billion yuan ($51.89 billion) in the first three quarters of this year, a 6.0 percent increase from the same period last year. 

Primary industries contributed 16.70 billion yuan, growing 4.1 percent, secondary industries contributed 137.57 billion yuan, growing 7.2 percent, and tertiary industries contributed 215.38 billion yuan, growing 5.3 percent. 

The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries in Guiyang reached 27.01 billion yuan, a 4.0 percent increase from last year.

The added value of large-scale industries in Guiyang also increased by 11.0 percent. Among the three major sectors, mining grew by 34.7 percent, manufacturing by 9.3 percent, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, and water by 11.9 percent. 

Fixed asset investment in Guiyang rose by 8.0 percent year-on-year. Investment in primary industries fell by 6.6 percent, while secondary and tertiary industries saw increases of 9.8 percent and 7.6 percent, respectively. 

Total retail sales of consumer goods in Guiyang reached 176.35 billion yuan, a 1.3 percent increase year over year. Urban retail sales dropped by 6.1 percent to 77.33 billion yuan, while rural retail sales plummeted by 55.7 percent to 882 million yuan. 

The added value of the service sector in Guiyang grew by 8.4 percent, with the transportation, storage, and postal industries seeing a 6.7 percent increase. 

Guiyang's general public budget revenue reached 34.79 billion yuan, a 4.0 percent increase, while expenditures were 52.30 billion yuan, down 2.6 percent. 

Urban residents’ per capita disposable income was 38,682 yuan, a nominal increase of 4.5 percent, while rural residents' was 19,483 yuan, up 7.0 percent.
