Since the beginning of the year, Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has fully leveraged the advantages of customs special supervision areas and the Guiyang International Land Port to promote the construction of the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base.
From January to July, Guiyang FTZ exported 1,074 used cars with an export value exceeding 160 million yuan ($22.3 million), attracting more than 10 upstream and downstream enterprises related to used car export.
Relying on the services of the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base, Guiyang Silu Auto Technology Co can receive orders from a cross-border used car marketing platform and negotiate used car procurement with overseas customers from countries and regions such as Russia, France, and Mongolia.
In July alone, the company exported 57 used cars, with nearly 1,000 used cars ordered in the first half of the year, primarily from Russia, the five Central Asian countries, and Southeast Asian countries.
Guiyang FTZ will continue to advance the construction of the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base, expand used car exports, and contribute to the high-quality development of the open economy in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area.
