The first "Guiyang Gifts" Cultural and Creative Competition was launched in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on the evening of July 6. The competition aims to promote the high-quality development of Guiyang's cultural tourism industry and create a cultural and creative tourism product brand with distinct Guiyang characteristics.

The competition is jointly guided by the publicity department of the CPC Guiyang municipal committee, Guiyang municipal bureau of culture and tourism, and Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce. It is hosted by the Guiyang Tourism Development Group Co.
During the launch ceremony, the organizing committee meticulously outlined the competition's overall concept, theme, timeline, organizational structure, and event arrangements. Titled "Cool Guiyang, Create Happiness", the competition will last until Aug 25. Its goal is to explore and create cultural and creative tourism products that embody Guiyang's local characteristics and cultures through various competition categories.
The launch ceremony also unveiled the registration methods, requirements for works, and evaluation standards for the competition. Participants can register and submit original works for review via the "GYgift" WeChat public account.
A representative of Guiyang Tourism Development Group Co remarked that this competition will further advance the development of Guiyang's cultural and creative tourism products, enhancing the city's cultural soft power and brand influence. It also offers a platform for cultural and creative enthusiasts to showcase their talent and exchange ideas.
