First store economy diversifies shopping experience

The introduction of the first stores opens a window to the outside world for Guiyang consumers, making the consumption experience more diverse.

Recently, Guiyang's new commercial landmark, the Xinyin 1950 Discovery Cultural and Creative Block, officially opened. According to statistics, 128,000 people visited on the opening day.

Located in Yunyan district, the first Molly Tea store in Guizhou made more than 10,000 sales in its first month on the Meituan takeout platform, ranking first in milk tea sales in Guiyang. Over the course of less than two months, five physical Molly Tea stores have opened in Guizhou.

The term "first store (of a brand in a designated area)" also includes old stores that have set up new stores through innovative business formats and models, such as new concept stores, experience stores, custom stores, and flagship stores. Congqian Bakery is one such highly popular new store.

The Lavant Shopping Center, Guizhou's first luxury shopping center established by Guiyang Xingli Department Store Group Co, brings together many well-known high-end brands from both China and abroad, with about 80 percent of them being the first stores in Guizhou.
