Machine tool firm expands global market reach

This year, Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co, based in Guiyang city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has seen a surge in orders, with orders for CNC roll grinders filled all the way through until the first quarter of next year, and still rising.

Established in 1958, the company has always focused on technological self-reliance. Through a collaborative approach involving industry, academia, and research, the company has worked with CNC system manufacturers to jointly develop domestically produced CNC roll grinders.

Nowadays, its roll grinders, centerless grinders, and other products are exported worldwide and widely used in industries such as steel, defense, shipbuilding, automotive parts, papermaking, and new energy.

In the first quarter of this year, the company achieved a cumulative industrial output value, sales revenue, and capital inflow of nearly 230 million yuan ($32.43 million), representing an 8.58-percent year-on-year growth. Its operating profit also increased by 17.6 percent, showing steady growth.
