On April 27, the second phase of the 135th Canton Fair concluded in Guangzhou. During this phase, six companies from Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, participated in the exhibition and secured a number of substantial intent-to-purchase orders.
The second phase of the physical exhibition focused on quality home products, featuring 15 exhibition areas across three main sectors: household items, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture. The exhibition covered an area of 515,000 square meters and hosted 9,820 onsite exhibiting companies.
Vonature Co, one of the six companies, is primarily engaged in the development, production, and sale of plant fiber elastic materials and products, and is the largest manufacturer of palm mattresses in the country. "Our mattresses have attracted a lot of inquiries and interest in negotiations, with a higher number of customers from Japan, South Korea, and some European countries showing strong interest in our products and offering high praise," said the company's sales manager.
Guizhou Golden Ocean Trading Co expressed satisfaction with the results of the exhibition, having secured over 60 intent-to-purchase orders. "The visiting customers mainly came from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative," said Wang Meijian, the company's general manager.
The third phase of the 135th Canton Fair's physical exhibition will be held from May 1 to 5, and seven Guiyang companies will participate.
