Flower economy prospers in Guiyang and Gui'an

Traveling to admire flowers has become a popular spring activity in recent years, so much so that the flower blooming season has become a prelude for the cultural tourism industry of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area. This year, both places have created more flower admiring sites, bringing diversified experiences to tourists.

Located in Wudang district of Guiyang, Huahua Town is a national 4A-level scenic spot, where visitors can enjoy vast fields of tulips, orchids, crabapple blossoms, pansies, and Chinese redbuds.

The flowers along Guiyang Metro Line 3 are now in full bloom, presenting a unique sight at every station. The same can be said for Huaxi Park, as cascades of wisteria flowers begin to bloom, painting the park in shades of purple.

In April, various locations in Guiyang and Gui'an have organized a variety of flower-viewing activities. These activities enrich cultural tourism and extend the industrial chain.

In Nanming district, peach blossom viewing is combined with ethnic music performances, immersive games, dragon dance competitions, specialty product exhibitions, and photography and videography contests. This not only injected vitality and passion into the area, but also highlighted its unique local customs.
