Division of Policy and Regulations

The major responsibilities are to study the expansion of opening-up and the reform of domestic and foreign trade operation, and put forward suggestions on major issues; to study and forward comprehensive policy recommendations for a sound modern market system; to guide and urge the municipal business administration law enforcement body to perform its duties of law enforcement; to take the lead to establish a sound business law enforcement coordination mechanism and a long-term mechanism for reporting complaints, and promote law enforcement coordination and regulatory information sharing between government departments.

It's also responsible for publicity, education and study of laws and regulations of the city's business system, administrative check and approval, review and response to lawsuits of administration, and administrative penalties.
