Guizhou delegation joins CIIE

On Nov 5, a delegation from Southwest China's Guizhou province visited the exhibition halls of General Electric, Varian Medical Systems, and Philips at the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai and talked with the representatives of these companies about future cooperation.

General Electric has a long-term cooperation foundation with Guizhou in the aviation industry. In the future, they will continue to strengthen cooperation in the aviation sector to help improve the quality and service standards of local aviation component companies in Guizhou.

They will also provide support in gas power generation for coal replacement, clean energy development, and green transformation in Guizhou and promote the implementation of relevant projects in the renewable energy sector.

Varian Medical Systems, founded in 1948, is the first high-tech medical company born in Silicon Valley, the United States, and is committed to researching and providing cancer treatment solutions. In the future, the company will contribute to the development of a high-quality cancer prevention and control system in Guizhou's medical institutions.

Philips, based in the Netherlands, mainly produces lighting, home appliances, and medical systems. The two sides will collaborate in the application market, taking the lead in developing the Sino-Dutch Medical Industrial Park and conducting pilot programs in smart healthcare applications in Guizhou.
