In the first half of this year, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, brought in 18 software service projects and seven industrial projects with investments of 710 million yuan ($98.9 million) and 653 million yuan, respectively.
Business promotion work achieved significant results in the development zone largely due to its friendly business environment.
Focusing on its own characteristics and functional orientation, the zone prioritizes industries, technology and talent.
Specific government leaders have been assigned to track the process of project construction, and they will visit relevant enterprises to help them overcome obstacles encountered during the design, construction and operation of the project.
Three State-owned platform enterprises in the zone have taken the initiative to implement a centralized business registration policy, which helps small business owners rent or purchase independent office areas and lowers their operational costs.
The zone's tax bureau has assigned special tax and fee service staff members to serve specialized and sophisticated enterprises and establish regular communications with them.
