The unveiling ceremony for the China (Guiyang) second-hand vehicle export base took place in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ), Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 1.

The ceremony was presided over by Liu Lisha, head of Guiyang bureau of commerce, and witnessed the participation of Guiyang customs, various municipal and county-level departments, financial institutions, chambers of commerce, media representatives, and more than 40 enterprises throughout China.

The FTZ's bureau of commerce signed strategic collaboration memorandums with 13 companies.

After the ceremony, all the attendees visited the Guiyang second-hand vehicle export demonstration center and one-stop service hall.

Following the approval of Guiyang to engage in the second-hand car export business in December 2022, the provincial, municipal, and district-level governments have been actively fostering relevant market entities. They have introduced enterprises and successfully fulfilled the first second-hand car export business order on May 24.

So far, Guiyang has exported 524 second-hand cars worth $13.35 million, with Central Asian countries being the leading export destination.
