On Sept 14, with the concerted efforts of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone's bureaus of commerce and taxation and a provincial digital foreign trade comprehensive service platform, more than 58,000 yuan ($8,079.4) in refunds were given to Guizhou Zongbao Auto Trade Import and Export Co, marking the fulfillment of the first secondhand car export tax refund business in Guizhou.
The company submitted a tax refund application in August, and the tax refund commissioner of the FTZ's taxation bureau immediately provided professional guidance to the company's financial officers and informed them in advance of the required documents, shortening the review period.
The company's business manager said that in the past, it would take about 60 to 90 days for new enterprises to apply for the first tax refund, but now it takes less than 40 days to complete the process.
Secondhand car exports have become a new driver of foreign trade. Since the launch of the business in Guiyang in April, more than 800 secondhand cars have been sold to overseas markets.
