Provincial export, import trade fair kicks off

The 2023 Guizhou export and import trade fair took place on Aug 18 at the Guiyang International Conference & Exhibition Center in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The fair was organized by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and Guiyang Municipal People's Government, and undertaken by the Guiyang bureau of commerce.

Guiyang, as the province's major export and import distribution and service center, was promoted at the event, followed by representations made by leaders from Guizhou's local enterprises, such as Guizhou Haowu Trade Development Co, Guizhou Guiyin Holding (Group) Co and Guizhou Gui Tea Group Co, introducing Guizhou's high-quality products to procurers and consumers.

The Macao-Guiyang Chamber of Commerce and Guizhou Qianhuitong E-commerce Service Co demonstrated how their own foreign trade platforms promote Guizhou products globally.

Local producers and dealers of Guizhou products, as well as foreign traders and procurers in the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, all pledged at the meeting to give full play to their trade channels, resources, and services to bring more select imports into Guizhou and export more Guizhou products.

The 2023 Guiyang Import and Export Network Trading Fair platform was launched that day. Consisting of sub-systems for online trading, procurement and supply information release, product exhibition and display malls, it utilizes diversified sales channels, fully addressing the challenges faced by buyers, sellers and the government. The platform's official website has attracted over 4,000 exhibitors and over 43,000 listed products so far.
