Since the beginning of this year, the Guiyang branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) has been continuously improving the quality of its corporate service work to support export-oriented businesses.
From January to July, a total of 175 general certificates of origin were issued for the city's foreign trade enterprises, representing a year-on-year increase of 16.7 percent. The certificates were valued at a total of $8.82 million.
Since March, when it was granted the authority to issue international commerce certificates, the branch has issued 21 such certificates and has significantly reduced the time required for reviewing and applying for certificates of origin, as well as the human labor and resources needed for business transactions.
