Upgraded farm produce markets lauded by residents

Since 2021, Guiyang has actively advanced the reform and upgrading of local farm produce markets by formalizing specific work plans, completing construction standards, and proceeding with the market reconstruction work in a phased manner.

In a bid to enhance the shopping experience for customers, the government has allocated a substantial amount of funds towards the upgrade of 84 farm produce markets. A total of 243 million yuan of funds ($35.87 million) have been set aside for this purpose. The result of this investment has been the improvement of 185,400 square meters of market space, ensuring that customers can enjoy a more comfortable and convenient shopping experience.
