The Department of Commerce of Guizhou Province issued the first second-hand car export license in Southwest China's Guizhou province on May 8, marking the official beginning of this type of business in the province.

In November last year, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Public Security, and the General Administration of Customs jointly released a circular, deciding to start second-hand car export businesses in 14 regions, and Guiyang – the capital of Guizhou province – has become one of the new group of pilot zones for the business.

The commercial systems at the provincial and municipal levels then quickly responded to the approval and selected five appropriate second-hand car exporters.

To make enterprises involved to get acquainted with the procedures needed for the application of the second-hand export license, the Department of Commerce of Guizhou Province and the Guiyang bureau of commerce have targeted rolled-out action plans for second-hand export and have assigned specific officials to provide consultation services on the application of electronic keys, online applications, and paperless customs clearance.

The department and the bureau will reportedly quicken handling the second-hand export business and enhance their communications with other government bodies in public security, customs, taxation, and market regulation.
