On March 30, the Guiyang bureau of commerce from Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, organized for representatives of local logistics enterprises, e-commerce operators and agriculture companies to visit a vegetable plantation in Xinglong village, Bianyang town of Luodian county, which is also in Guizhou.
The village's agricultural cooperative introduced the plantation's growing scale, the types of vegetables it cultivates, its growing model, and its sales channels to the visitors.
A work session was then held, in which the county's bureau of industry and information technology reported the plantation's achievements over the last year during its production and sales collaboration with Guiyang, as well as its work plan for future partnership.
Officials of the Guiyang bureau of commerce put forward Guiyang's demands for agricultural product publicity, market entity cultivation and more e-commerce platforms.
Throughout the first quarter of 2023, Guiyang had procured about 2,000 metric tons of agricultural products from Luodian county, including sea food, fruit, vegetables, and meat.
