A team of officials led by Zheng Xuke, vice president of the Guiyang Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), planned visits to the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, and the Chongqing and Chengdu branches of the Singapore Economic Development Board from March 17 to 20, aiming to invite these institutions to attend the Big Data Expo 2023.

After briefly introducing Guiyang's economic and trade situation and key industry layouts, Zheng informed these institutions of the background as well as major activities and events that will be included in this year's expo.
Paolo Bazzoni, president of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, said that over the past several years, remarkable results have been achieved through the exchanges and cooperation between Italy and Guizhou, and that the chamber will send representatives to participate in the upcoming expo.
Bazzoni also expressed his hope that in the second half of 2023, the chamber will be able to hold an "Italy Meets China" activity in Guiyang.
