Business opportunities for German companies in the massive Chinese market were top of the agenda recently at a forum held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
That's when Rudolf Scharping, president of German consultancy Rudolf Scharping Strategie Beratung Kommunikation AG and his team attended the event with representatives from government departments, enterprises and associations in Guizhou province on Feb 21.
The Frankfurt-based specialist in the strategic and business development of companies and institutions in China was aiming to establish a channel for communications and cooperation.
During the forum, managers in charge of 13 provincial and local government units, enterprises and associations in Guizhou gave presentations on its investment promotion policies, advantageous industries and cooperation intentions.
According to Rudolf Scharping, Guizhou is a province rich in resources, which can be combined with Germany's advanced processing technologies to achieve a win-win mutual outcome for both sides.
Since 2017, Guizhou has participated in the "Belt and Road Initiative" (BRI) Sino-German Economic Cooperation Dialogue jointly organized by the China Economic Cooperation Center and Rudolf Scharping Strategie Beratung Kommunikation AG.
In 2019, Rudolf Scharping was invited by Guiyang to participate in the China International Big Data Industry Expo.
