Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has gone full steam ahead in exploring overseas markets, local media reported.
"We have orders from home and abroad that will keep us busy until June this year, and the company is producing at full capacity every day," said Cao Yuteng, chief operating officer of the company, which is based in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. "After a period of expediting, the company has completed some of the orders from the United States and India, which will be exported in the near future."
Cao's company is committed to developing and manufacturing a universal chassis for vehicles with automatic driving capabilities. Its "flagship" products include an unmanned minibus (Robobus), autonomous skateboard chassis and autonomous driving kit.
"Since the start of this year, our production capacity has doubled, and the number of overseas orders we've received has increased significantly. South Korea's SpringCloud has begun long-term strategic cooperation with us," Cao said.
While boosting production and sales, Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co has also achieved new breakthroughs in technological innovation. "In addition to the development of automatic driving technology and skateboard chassis, we also independently developed new design and manufacturing processes – AAM (automotive algorithm model) and RTM (real-time molding model) – driven by AI, and this year, we have been granted three invention patents," Cao said.
Thanks to the new technologies, the company's production efficiency has increased by more than 70 percent. The company's AAM and RTM technologies have already completed internal tests and are expected to be put into use in April by third parties.
