Big data used to monitor price of goods

On Jan 31, People's Daily reported that a big data commodity price monitoring platform had been established in Guiyang and Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

All real-time data on sales, production and logistics can be monitored on the platform, which is now in trial operation, to make sure that the food supply is more precise.

Guiyang and Guian's 154 fresh produce supermarkets are shown on the platform, together with their real-time passenger flows, sales volume and food prices.
