Online platform ensures people get medicine in time

Since Dec 25, a special section for COVID-19 drug services on the online healthcare service platform of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province has collected more than 20 types of fever-reducing drugs, analgesics and cough medicines, enabling residents to place orders after receiving a prescription.

Through efforts by the Guiyang bureau of commerce and other municipal departments, five medicine firms have provided medicine for the online platform.

Residents can first use the online diagnosis service on the platform's official WeChat applet and then place orders according to doctors' prescriptions. The drugs ordered will be delivered by couriers.

Five districts in Guiyang – Nanming, Yunyan, Huaxi, Baiyun and Guanshanhu districts – have established temporary warehouses to store the medicine so that people can receive the drugs within five hours of placing the order.
