Large business complexes achieve green transformation

The report to the 20th CPC National Congress states that respecting and protecting nature and following the laws of nature are a prerequisite to building a modern socialist country.

Over the past decade, Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province has continued to develop its green economy, and made solid strides in industrial sustainability.

The Wuyue Plaza in Qingzhen is one of Guizhou's green business complexes for this year, and has adopted an environment and energy consumption management system which receives data generated by water and power supply equipment on a regular basis, based on which the plaza further optimizes its energy utilization scheme.

According to the Guiyang bureau of commerce, the city has so far established five such green business complexes, and will maintain efforts to advocate green consumption concepts and boost enthusiasm among local enterprises to develop more green consumption scenarios and business types.
