The 11th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo kicked off in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 9 and will last until Nov 12.
The opening ceremony attracted 12 business associations and 1,163 companies from 13 countries, and saw 30 investment and trade projects sign into effect.
The projects included 20 related to investment cooperation worth 22.84 billion yuan ($3.15 billion) and 10 related to trade cooperation worth 838 million yuan.
At the expo, Guizhou will promote 600 new industrialization investment attraction projects, aiming to attract an investment of 348.31 billion yuan.
This year's expo has 3,037 exhibitors, the highest ever for the expo. The online expo has seven exhibition areas with 1,874 exhibitors, while the on-site expo has eight exhibition halls with 1,163 exhibitors.
In addition to the exhibition, the expo will also hold various forums, product releases and award ceremonies to promote cooperation between the exhibitors and attendees.
