Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province has issued a series of tax reduction and exemption plans.
Every month this year, production and consumer service operators will receive a 10-percent and 15-percent discount, respectively, based on the amount they are required to pay in taxes.
From 2022 to 2024, small-scale tax payers, small and medium-sized enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households will only have to pay 50 percent of local taxes and two kinds of fees for resource utilization, city maintenance, real estate, land utilization, education and other areas.
Special groups, such as those identified as members of the registered impoverished population, college graduates, and unemployed individuals counting on basic living insurance, with other family members unemployed too, will also benefit from the tax reduction scheme.
