Guiyang's exhibition area honored at 22nd CIFIT

As one of the most popular Chinese cities for investment at the 22nd China International Fair for Investment & Trade, or CIFIT – Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – won a bronze prize for the most creative exhibition area.

CIFIT was held in Xiamen, the port city in East China's Fujian province, on Sept 8-11.

Guiyang's exhibition area focused on the city's abundant charms and its development in electronics information manufacturing, new energy vehicles, the phosphorus chemicals industry, green food and the software and information technology service industry.

At the exhibition area, visitors watched promotional videos showing the great experience in health, culture, sightseeing, food shopping and travel being offered by Guiyang.

Visitors scanning QR codes stood to win products, souvenirs and scenic spot tickets in Guiyang at the exhibition area.

The exhibition area also demonstrated Guiyang's integrated development of its industries and the digital economy – and featured such products as embroidery work, silver jewelry and pieces, alcoholic beverages, tea, fruit and medicines.
