Guiyang to participate in CIFIT in September

The city of Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province will take part in the upcoming 22nd China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT), which is scheduled to take place on Sept 8-11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, according to local news reports on Aug 29.

The event is China's only international investment promotion event aimed at facilitating bilateral investments. It is also the largest global investment event approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

Guiyang will demonstrate its overall city image, conduct road shows, and arrange foreign investment promotion meetings during the fair.

Guiyang's industrial foundations and development potential in electronic information manufacturing, new energy vehicles, phosphorus chemicals, special organic food, and software and IT services will be shown as an integral aspect of its city image. Meanwhile, Guiyang's unique charm as a renowned summer resort will also be enhanced.

At the foreign investment promotion meeting, Guiyang and Guian New Area's business-friendly investment environment, industrial foundation, and natural environment will be promoted to expand the city's international influence.
