An e-commerce development seminar for cooperation between China and countries along the Mekong River was held in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 23.
Guests invited to the meeting discussed future e-commerce development channels and models for in-depth collaboration between Guizhou and countries along the Mekong River, including Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar, in order to bring practical benefits to the people who live there.
Zhang Hanlin, director of the Guizhou Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, hopes that the seminar can strengthen connections between the province and countries along the Mekong River in digital economy, e-commerce and vocational training for the digital economy.
The province will support the development of China Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zones in Guiyang and Zunyi and continue to support local e-commerce leading enterprises as well as small and medium-sized e-commerce operators.
