Guiyang customs in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently rolled out 16 measures to beef up foreign trade.

The establishment of custom supervision work stations in the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) is being encouraged, and the government also called for the coordinated development of the FTZ and Guiyang Dulaying International Land-Sea Logistics Port. Guiyang will support Guizhou in constructing land ports.

Customs officials will deliver one-on-one guidance to enterprises unclear about customs clearance procedures, while door-to-door inspection services will be offered for goods urgently needed by enterprises, such as imported machinery and raw materials.

The government will renew its support for the development of international freight trains and Guizhou's participation in the New Land-Sea Channel in western China. Postal service providers are advised to adopt the 9610 customs supervision code, and customs clearance procedures will be prioritized for goods such as novel coronavirus vaccines and testing kits.

The time needed for exported food manufacturers to register has been reduced from five to three workdays.

Other measures involve tax reductions, implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement, effective supply of imported and exported agricultural products and food products, fruit industry development, processing trade operator cultivation, and the international trade Single Window upgrading.
