49 enterprises selected as local time-honored brands

The award ceremony for Guizhou and Guiyang Time-Honored Brands was held on May 3 in the Nanming district of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The ceremony was held by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and organized by the Guiyang bureau of commerce and a local internet service company.

Officials from the commerce departments of the Guizhou and Guiyang governments announced that 90 enterprises won the title of Guizhou Time-Honored Brand and 49 firms were selected as Guiyang Time-Honored Brands.

Guiyang Guanghangong Trading Co was selected among the first group of Guiyang Time-Honored Brands. Founded in 1935, the company preserves the ancient mooncake and ham production process, with its products boasting the largest market share in Guiyang.

A series of offline activities were held on May 3-4 in Qingyun city of Nanming district, including singing and dancing performances and commodity exhibitions. Shopping vouchers were also issued to residents online to boost consumption.
