Guiyang holds service trade training session

In order to build Guiyang into a pilot zone and a demonstration city of China's service outsourcing practices, Guiyang bureau of commerce located in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, invited Wang Xiaohong, a higher-up from the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, to give a lecture on the high-quality development of the service trade on April 22.

More than 60 Guiyang officials from commerce departments and corporate representatives participated in the training session online or on-site.

Wang shared her insights and opinions on the future trends of the global services trade and the existing problems in the domestic service trade area, and provided several suggestions for Guiyang to enhance its service trade, for example, by completing relevant infrastructure, giving full play to the big data technology, cultivating leading service trade enterprises, and establishing appropriate cooperation mechanism.

Tang Rong, deputy director of the bureau, presided over the training session, and urged officials to offer guidance to service trade firms, and shift their focus to software information, big data, industrial design and other sectors, in order to raise the city's overall service outsourcing capability.
