The Guiyang bureau of commerce located in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a symposium on cross-border e-commerce on April 15.
Bureau officials listened to work report briefings from representatives of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, and Guanshanhu district.
The meeting was also participated in by 16 local cross-border e-commerce enterprises, which reported on the problems they faced in logistics, payment, sales models, and packaging identification.
Tang Rong, deputy head of the bureau, said that the bureau will make a list of issues faced by enterprises that need to be resolved and handle the issues one by one within a certain period of time.
The bureau will work to formulate supporting policies for overseas warehouse layouts and e-commerce websites, and explore the concrete application of supply chain finance in foreign trade, which will ease financial pressure on enterprises.
