Provincial officials visit bureau for foreign trade research

Officials from the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce recently launched a research visit to the Guiyang bureau of commerce. Both the bureau and the department are located in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The visiting team was accompanied by representatives from the Guiyang bureau of investment promotion, Guiyang customs, bureau of taxation, and all related commerce sectors in districts and counties administered by Guiyang.

Guiyang is currently home to 37 foreign-invested companies, 14 of which had concrete exports and imports performances in 2021. Existing problems in foreign trade and potential solutions were discussed among officials. In addition, 2022 foreign trade policies were interpreted by provincial leaders.

Zhang Quan, a senior official at the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce, emphasized the importance of coordination among staff members at the investment promotion and commerce bureaus, and highlighted the need to launch training sessions on how to increase foreign trade.

Tang Rong, deputy head of the Guiyang bureau of commerce, vowed to strengthen government services related to imports and exports and broaden trading channels with foreign partners.
