Guiyang bureau stages environment awareness activity

The Guiyang bureau of commerce – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – arranged a special activity on March 16 that was designed to raise awareness of the need to protect the environment.

The event was attended by the employees of the bureau who visited Qingzhen city and took part in a walking race, a photo contest and a quiz about garbage sorting – with all the competitions having an eco-friendly theme.

Winners of the competitions above were given certificates of merit by the bureau's women's committee.

In addition, Wang Wenhua, third-level consultant of the bureau, and Zheng Xuke, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guiyang Sub-Council, conferred awards for staff members who won the honorary titles of "good mothers", "good fathers", and "good children".
