A work session was held on Feb 22 by the Guiyang bureau of commerce in which officials exchanged opinions with senior members of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao International Supply Chain (Guangzhou) Co.
Due to Guiyang's role as a China's cross-border e-commerce pilot zone, the bureau hopes that Guiyang Free Trade Zone can work with the company to build a digital service and trade platform for the global commodity distribution center which will digitalize procedures in distribution, logistics, custom clearances, financing, and insurance, and form a digital commercial decision-making and management plan in order to facilitate the high-quality development of commerce in the city.
Tang Rong, deputy head of the bureau, stressed the need for the firm to understand the reality of the situation in Guiyang, focus on supply chain finance and digital transformation, and carry out programs in a phased manner.
Liu Lisha, head of the bureau, said that the bureau will coordinate with the Department of Commerce of Guizhou Province and help enterprises involved make full use of the government fund for digital service and opening-up platforms.
