New regulations for optimizing the business environment in Southwest China's Guizhou province have recently been approved and will take effect from Jan 1, 2022.
The regulations summarize Guizhou's experience in optimizing its business environment over the past few years, and provide a legal basis for the province to create a national first-rate business environment over the next three years.
The regulations have 80 articles covering areas such as market entity protection, government affairs, supervision and law enforcement.
Once they take effect, the regulations will help tackle difficulties and problems faced by market entities during their development, and save businesses time while cutting their operating costs.
Guizhou hopes to optimize the business environment, create more job opportunities, increase tax revenues, and promote the high-quality economic and social development of the province.
