According to a provincial news conference on Guizhou's business environment optimization policies held on Dec 16, the province will further extend its international trade single window, which is expected to offer online services related to export and import declaration, transportation tool application, tax and fee payments, trade authorization, and certificate of origin application.
The single window platform is reportedly a one-stop comprehensive service platform that runs through all international trade links, saving enterprises much time and money.
Ma Lei, president of the Guizhou Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau, said during the news conference that since the launch of the single window four years ago, the platform has been offering 20 specific functions. Firms are encouraged to log onto the official website to choose the services they need, including foreign trade operator filing, customs registration, cargo declaration, tax and fee payment, and tax reimbursement.
By Dec 26, the international trade single window had completed 183,295 business orders of all kinds, and had received 2,778 cases, all of which had been resolved.
