Guizhou's first order under the 9610 customs supervision code was completed on Oct 29 in Guiyang, indicating that Guizhou's cross-border e-commerce export model has officially taken off.
The first order was placed by consumers in the United States. After going through customs, vacuum cups worth 1,200 yuan ($180) were transported from China to the US to be delivered to customers within 72 hours of their order.
The 9710 and 9810 customs supervision codes were made available in Guizhou this year, which have brought in large numbers of orders for traditional foreign trade companies.
Since July, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce has coordinated with Guiyang customs, giving full play to the Alibaba E-Commerce Guizhou Service Center and encouraging special products such as auto spare parts, guitars, toilet lids, and spicy sources from Guiyang, Guian New Area and Zunyi to be exported to the US, Poland and Myanmar.
