Guiyang posts faster industrial investment growth in H1

News from the official website of the Guiyang bureau of statistics suggests that during the first half of 2021, the city's industrial investment registered a year-on-year increase of 28.8 percent, with its growth rate higher than overall investment in the city by 31.6 percentage points. 

Investment in the manufacturing sector alone surged 30.5 percent compared with the same period last year. 

During this period, investment in high-tech industries also rose slightly, with the investment in the high-tech manufacturing sector surging by 49.5 percent. 

In addition, capital in place for fixed asset investments in the first two quarters this year amounted to 103.69 billion yuan ($15.55 billion), up by 23 percent year-on-year.
