Guiyang's consumer price index (CPI) in June was up 1.1 percent year-on-year, and its growth rate narrowed from last month by 0.1 percentage points.
Food prices in June dropped by 2.4 percent, while non-food prices rose by 1.9 percent. Prices of consumer goods and services were up 0.9 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively.
CPI growth in the first half of this year is roughly the same as in the same period last year and lower than the national level by 0.5 percentage points.
Guiyang ranks 29th in the CPI ranking of China's 36 big- and medium-sized cities.
