The Guiyang bureau of commerce held an educational symposium on the study of the Party's history on June 18 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The bureau, responsible for the city's trade, business opening-up, and consumption promotion, has pledged to join the dual-circulation development paradigm in which the domestic market is the mainstay and the domestic and foreign markets reinforce each other, and to deepen the supply-side structural reform of commercial businesses, said Liu Lisha, director of the bureau.
Lectures, quizzes, and writing and speech competitions were held to commemorate the Party's glorious past. Movies about the Party were also viewed and books on the Party were given to participants.
To increase people's satisfaction, the bureau has since this year initiated a 15-minute high-quality community service program, the reform and upgrade of local farm produce markets, and other major projects, in which they conducted careful researches and solicited opinions from residents in order to learn about their actual needs and demands.
